DEKONSTRUKT are a five-piece metallic D.I.Y. Crust outfit from Ulm / Southern Germany with female (main) vocals, their stlye can be described as brutal and aggressive blackened Crustcore. The full album is completely DIY recorded and mixed by Martin Pierzchala & DEKONSTRUKT in two sessions during may – july 2020 & september – october 2021 in Ulm, Germany and got mastered by Guido Muder during march 2022 in Munich, Germany. Altogether eleven tracks (one hidden track) full of violent power, dark crushing melodies and with fierceand „very unfriendly“ vocals.

„Mentally Trapped“ in its original cassette version was released in the year 2022 by the german labels SUBZINE RECORDS and MODERN ILLUSION RECORDS.

Three different versions are / will be available:
# the ultra limited (approved) Test Pressing edition on Black vinyl limited to twenty hand-numbered copies, this special version comes with plain b/w test pressing cover delivered by the pressing plant and an extra fold-out cover showing the inverted artwork of the final cover, no insert
# the Standard edition on Doom Black vinyl limited to 400 copies, the album will be housed in a LP pocket cover (3 mm spine) and will come with the same lyric / info insert as the original tape version (SOLD HERE)
# the Die Hard edition on Colour-In-Colour Effect Vinyl: White Inside / Crystal Clear Outside With Aqua Blue Splatter vinyl limited to 96 copies, the album will be housed in a LP pocket cover (3 mm spine) and will come with the same lyric / info insert as the original tape version

Neuroot/Fratricide – Split

The endless waiting time of forty years is finally over, four long decades after it´s original planned release this masterpiece of Eighties Hardcore finally sees the light of day. In the year 1986 the legendary US label PUSMORT, run by PUSHEAD himself, a very well-known artist and singer of SEPTIC DEATH, only managed to release a bunch of test pressings (PUSMORT 0012 – 12) but never did a regular pressing, the originally planned UK labels for this re-issue saddly failed too, so it is the job of the not so well-known THREAT FROM THE PAST from Germany to finish this „project“. Paul Stone from the UK had the idea to finally „re-release“ this masterpiece of Eighties Hardcore, he got in touch with the bands / labels, rearranged, restored all artwork, did all graphics for the pressing plant and with some help from Steve Hoggart (as well from the UK) who restored, remastered the songs, he managed to upgrade this release to new levels and to get the best possible result. In the included booklet you can read about the original PUSMORT „drama“, how the plan of a re-issue was born and some parts of the story before THREAT FROM THE PAST (from Germany) and NEON TASTE RECORDS from Canada (who will do a separate canadian pressing) finally rescued this split LP from dying before birth again.

Enough talking about the making let´s talk about the music and the bands:

NEUROOT from Arnhem, The Netherlands contributes six fast, aggressive and crushing Hardcore songs to this split release, four of them already appeared on the legendary „Right Is Might“ 7″ EP (from 1986), next to other famous dutch acts like B.G.K., NO PIGS, LÄRM, … NEUROOT were part of the Early, Mid Eighties Hardcore, Punk scene of this country.

FRATRICIDE from Vancouver, BC, Canada were a short-living Crossover, Hardcore band, active only from the years 1986 – 1988, on their side of this split output you find seven fast, more metallic Hardcore, Crossover tunes, sometimes reminding of the great US band THE ACCÜSED, fast, relentless, unstoppable and as crushing as the material from their split partner.

In the year 1986 PUSMORT, USA did the original test pressing version in a very limited edition, saddly they never finished this „project“ with a normal pressing.

Malatesta – Gewalt

Malatesta are a Punk, Crust band from Munich, Germany that began in 2009 and changed vocalists in the year 2018. They already released the „Licht“ 7″ EP (2012), the „S/T“ cassette (2019), their debut album called „Unter Tage“ on Alerta Antifacista from Germany (2022) and after a break of nearly four years it´s time for a new output. Heavily inspired by Swedens and Portlands, USA dark Crust scenes of the earlier part of this century, their upcoming 12″ LP „Gewalt“ is a blistering echo from those days, fast and unrelenting this record speaks up against patriarchal violence and abusive relationships. Formed by ache and anger, Malatesta is cutting through and fighting back. The four new songs were recorded in the Tonmeisterei Oldenburg, Germany in november 2024, four impressive songs full of power, pissed off, aggressive and ready for resistance.

Besthöven – Planeta Guerra

After the great „Tomorrow´s Hell“ EP (from 2020) Besthöven from Brasil are back with their second strike on Civilisation Records called „Planta Guerra“: Eighteen songs (including a cover version of the band Auschwitz, the previous tape and CD version only had sixteen songs !!!) were recorded at the Batcave Studio between january and july 2023, Dulce Misantropia from the band Destruidö did guest vocals on one track. Fofäo Discrust, the one and only „mastermind“ behind Besthöven, did a superb job, music and the artwork created by himself sound and look fantastic. Besthöven continues the D-Beat, Raw Punk struggle against war and all the shit happening in this fucked up world with great songs like „Death Arrives In The White Light“, „The Time To Die“, „A World Full Of Pain And Sorrow“, „Ghost Soldiers“, „Hate In Their Eyes“, … . Please expect a full dose of raw brasilian D-Beat, Raw Punk, very raw but with great sound.
In the year 2023 there already have been a tape version on No Label Distro / Label (Ukraine) and a CD version on Discördia Records (Brasil), both version in very limited editions.

Neuroot from Arnhem, The Netherlands were one of the most (political) active bands in the dutch Eighties Punk, Hardcore scene, next to Lärm, No Pigs, Stanx, B.G.K., … one of the best known bands coming from The Netherlands (maybe from Europe) for shure. In summer 2022 Threat From The Past released a compilation LP + CD (CD will include different tracks) including tons of rare and raw material (mosty live) recorded from 1982 – 1988, as bonus the legendary „Right Is Might“ EP from 1986 is added. All songs (except the tracks on the EP) were restored from original tapes and remastered by Henning Prochnow in Germany. All the LP (and CD) artwork was done by Marcel Stol (Neuroot) and Bernd Spring (Ulcerous, Phlegm, Deep) from Germany, who did all final graphic preparation for the pressing plant.

Neuroot is a very well-known Hardcore, Punk band from the Netherlands that was active in the years 1981 – 1987. They got really famous because of their fast and relentless sound, pissed off Eighties Hardcore, Punk for the nerds and Noise freaks. Their first tape „Macht Kaput Was Euch Kaput Macht“ (1983), the „Right Is Might“ EP (1986) and the „Plead Insanity“ LP (1988) are called classic now and should not miss in a well sorted Punk collection. This was the past but now we live in the present and Neuroot are back. In 2018 the band releases their new album „Obuy And Die“, seven songs where recorded in november 2017 at the Rocketdog Studios in Westervoort, The Netherlands to pressed on a Black piece of vinyl. Yes of course the wild youth of the band is gone but that doesnt mean you have to expect modern Sell-Out Punk Rock. The new Neuroot material might be a little bit slower, more melodic as many of you might expect, but believe me you will get a full dose of political Punk, Hardcore with some hints of Metal. The band members might have aged a little bit, but they still know how to deliver a great Punk album.

Great new album of this dutch Hardcore, Punk legend, 523 copies on Black vinyl pressed in co-operation with the band, this LP comes in a nice full coloured pocket cover and with extra info / lyric sheet.

The four-piece band is a united force, comprising members of Rană, UNRU, Covenaut and Gvla, deeply influenced by the old days of Black Metal.

Jæhzorn’s black thrashing wrath is delivered through the sharpened scythe of second wave Black Metal, reaping over the first wave’s home soil. Furious, witch-like vocals fuel the rage, while banshee screams grieve over mankind’s aberration.

Their debut EP, „Weiderecht,“ translated as “Grazing Rights,” is a punk-heavy Black Metal Bonanza with Heavy-Metal guitars and diy-attitude.
