Arcane Manifestations is the result of four likeminded individuals giving shape to what lurks at the elusive fringes of the subconscious. Heavily influenced by the crushing drones of contemporary doom metal, but rooted in the bleakness of black metal, beculted wanted to create a sound that wavers between incomprehensible derangement and pointless mania. The music is not meant to be accessible: right from the beginning of the work process it was clear that we would go for counterintuitive song structures, instruments that are quite uncommon for metal genres and an overall obscure aesthetic – intangible and aberrant. Evading any attempts of interpretation, both lyrics and music leave the listener with profound discomfort and forlornness. Join this journey and follow our path into nothingness.
